WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Your learning will take place via an online learning platform where you will be able to login at a time to suit you around your family and work commitments.
The course is written in line with the National Occupational Standards for the Beauty Industry & accredited by the Centre of CPD Excellence.
You will be qualified as a Makeup Artist and able to start your own business.
The course is a mixture of written info and video lessons and will cover:
The history of Makeup
Your client & how to build a client base
The 3 Bs of Makeup
How to do a client consultation using the CHILL Method
Makeup Products and how to use them
Tutorials on eyeliner flicks and the perfect pout
Contouring to flatter face shape
Corrective makeup skills
PLUS practical tutorials for Daytime Makeup, Special Occassion Makeup, Evening Makeup and working on Mature Skin and different ethnicities
There are 6 hours of theory training videos with an assessment pack to complete and submit.
Followed by 3 hours of practical demonstration videos showing you how to complete your own makeup on models.
The course modules are released on a weekly basis with approximately 2 hours of learning per module.

Amy Bates - Founder of the Beauty Rebellion Academy
Amy is an award winning Bridal Hair & Makeup Artist. She started her career as a Police Officer and changed direction to the world of Bridal Beauty in 2011.
After her son was born in 2013 life changed and happiness became Amys number one priority and the police officer job was no more. No more dropping the baby to nursery to do a job she didnt love, no more asking for time off for it to be refused due to staffing levels and no more shifts and missing important things!
After winning an award for her work and being featured in Bride Magazine she opened her own Bridal Beauty Salon in 2016.
Alongside her two young children, Amy runs a successful retail business in natural skincare and has personally sold over £100K of products whilst leading a team of over 200 women. She is the producer of The Beauty Rebellion Academy Podcast and owner of the Beauty Rebellion Academy which was born during the lockdown when Amy saw that she could help women take control of their lives and happiness, not just shape their brows and do their makeup.
Amy chose hybrid beauty training to offer flexibility and control to the women she trains to help encourage better work/life balance and always applying "work smarter, not harder" techniques in all areas of business.
